Dog Leads Police & Firemen to Fire

A German Shepherd named Buddy was honored for helping policemen & firefighters reach their burning house.  Policemen had a problem reaching the house since their GPS was not working. This video was taken from the police car’s dashboard camera-  showing how Buddy lead the police to the house. After that, he then went back to the main road to get the firemen.

As I browsed the channels of my television, I came across this advertisement in some home shopping network which interested me. There is this program which teaches your infant (yeah! infant) how to read. It was quite amusing seeing infant read from a cue card and then demonstrating what it says. then eventually reading a paragraph like a toddler.

Touchless Cellphone

Air clicking is the best way to describe the way you use this cellphone interface invented in Tokyo University. Just point to the screen without touching it, and the cursor will follow your finger, then air click! Very interesting, just do not know if it is practical.

Cord Management

We have been using binder clips for organizing our paper files, now we can use them in organizing USB cables. This can be done by attaching the binder clips on the edge of the tables and use the loops to carry the cords so that we forget about reaching the back of our computers or avoid cable tangles..

The script for Avatar was developed 16 years ago (1994) by James Camron (the director of Titanic, which the the highest grossing film ever), but the technology needed for the film was not yet available. In 2005, further improvements took place. It is even shown in 3D!
