Facebook- The Movie

You can’t make 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The movie accounts the founding story of the famous social website, Facebook. Adapted from the book The Accidental Billionaires, the movie narrates all the success and drama behind the billion dollar empire, conceptualized by college students. The trailer intrigues me a lot- making me wanna watch it.

The script for Avatar was developed 16 years ago (1994) by James Camron (the director of Titanic, which the the highest grossing film ever), but the technology needed for the film was not yet available. In 2005, further improvements took place. It is even shown in 3D!

Budget was said to be around $300 million, but what the heck! If this film grosses as much as Titanic, each second of waiting will be worth it! (more…)

Giant electronic companies Sony and Panasonic already announced that 3D TV’s will be available by early 2010. It is a huge jump from a black and white TV with a cabinet 2 decades ago. So exciting! Now, we can watch pur favorite IMAX movies at home. Can’t wait!
