Cheapest Laptop for Less Than Php 2000!

Got so surprised when I came across this news about some Indian investor developed a touchscreen device which can let you browse the internet, read PDF files, do video conferencing, etc. Everything for less than Php 2000! If that isn’t cheap enough for you, they are trying to get the price lower to around Php 500-1000. A very cheap alternative from the now famous iPad!

Let us see if this can compete with the tablets found in Divisoria!

In the middle east, many of the Al Qaeda suicide bombers are female. Intelligence reports revealed that they implant explosives inside their breasts similar to how breast implants are inserted- like breast augmentation.

They use this technique since establishments like airports usually uses scanners or x-rays only to bags and luggage. Unless body scanners are used, these bombs are not detected.

Air clicking is the best way to describe the way you use this cellphone interface invented in Tokyo University. Just point to the screen without touching it, and the cursor will follow your finger, then air click! Very interesting, just do not know if it is practical.

Cord Management

We have been using binder clips for organizing our paper files, now we can use them in organizing USB cables. This can be done by attaching the binder clips on the edge of the tables and use the loops to carry the cords so that we forget about reaching the back of our computers or avoid cable tangles..

3D Television!

Giant electronic companies Sony and Panasonic already announced that 3D TV’s will be available by early 2010. It is a huge jump from a black and white TV with a cabinet 2 decades ago. So exciting! Now, we can watch pur favorite IMAX movies at home. Can’t wait!

I’m just not sure how many 3D glasses will come with the TV. I hope enough for the family!

Standard Cellphone Chargers

Imagine if all our appliances use different electrical outlets or different cables. How chaotic our lives would be! This is how cellphone companies are right now. Different phone, different type of charger.

I am sure at one point of your life, you have looked for a charger but no one has the type that you can use. Nokia cellphones have 2 types of chargers, the “fat” and the “thin”. Samsung, Motorola, Lg and others have their own.

Finally, these mobile phone companies have realized that they will make our lives more convenient if they will use just one standard-size phone charger! Hopefully by 2012, majority of the industry will conform. Phew!

Easy Needle Threading

It is kinda hard to thread needles! But someone invented a solution for that.. an adjustable needle eye! You can just push the top part. The eye will expand, leaving a bigger whole where you can insert your thread. Pull it back to straighten the needle. Neat, huh?! Hehe!

I am excited to buy one of these great but practical invention! I suppose it would not be very expensive (hope so!). What you think?

Polaroid cameras are well-known for instant pictures. Before, these cameras have low-quality and photos have to be air dried.

The new polaroid camera is “hi-tech”. It shoots with a 5 megapixel quality. As usual, with a built-in printer- clearer photos than before! You just have to shoot and print. It is called the Polaroid PoGo Instant Camera.

Also you can crop or edit pictures before you print it.

Popping bubble wraps are so addicting! Bubble wraps are the plastic sheets with air bubbles which protects fragile items.

The world is getting more environmentally aware. Because of this, plastic wraps will be replaced with paper.. So sad, but I understand.. No popping in the future anymore! Huhuhu! WHat you think?
