Town in Texas Off to Las Vagas

Forth Worth- a tiny town in texas, made of 2 stop signs and no stoplight got a free trip to Las Vagas for 5 days. Out of 350 residents, half of them were able to go. These are the ones who are above 21 years old and go off from work.


Everybody are treated with accommodations from well-known hotels, meals from high-end restaurants and tickets for the famous Las Vagas shows. All are for free. Only, their experience would have to be videoed and photographed for Las Vagas’s promotion.

Las Vagas is spending $2.5 million to treat 125 small communities like this. They are looking for farming or ranching towns, with one gas station, one bank, and a few businesses. These are towns which are hard working and living simple lives.. compared to the glitzy and fast life in Vagas

Dodge Shoes!

US President Bush had his farewell media conference with Iraqi PM. During the start of his speech, an Iraqi reporter threw his pair of shoes one at a time while shouting “This is your farewell… Dog!”. Bush ducked like a pro- dodge ball player- was not hit by both shoes.

A "Nightmare Match" for De La Hoya

The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was full of supporters of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Oscar “Golden Boy” de la Hoya.

Dubbed as the “Dream Match”, it didn’t end up that way for the Mexican- American boxer. In every round of the fight, Pacquiao was the clear winner. At the end of the 8th round, de la Hoya threw in the towel.
