My little princess, Louise got the go signal for baby food from her pediatrician, but it took some work to prepare her mashed potatoes or carrots so somehow it discouraged me. Still, I was determined not to feed her baby food with preservatives like Gerber or Cerelac. As I survey the aisle of a supermarket I discovered this baby food that is all natural, without preservatives or extenders or anything. I got excited.. I wish to share this to all parents cause this could make their life a little bit easier (hope so!).. I found this 100% natural pureed food from Rafferty’s Garden. Their products come from this zesto-like pack with a spout and comes in different flavors. For our trial, we chose 2 flavors, the sweet potato+carrot+apple and the blueberries+banana+apple. Louise liked both. My husband and I even tried it, and it tasted good. There are a lot more flavors, found an organic one too.. So disappointed that i didn’t get that one!

You can store these packs in room temp (without sunlight of course!), and when opened put it in the ref and still enjoy it for 48 hours. This product is quite convenient too since there is a spout where you can just pour the food straight on the spoon. It can be microwaved but i feed Louise straight from the ref.

Found this in Landmark Supermarket in Trinoma in the baby food section (with the Gerbers and Cerelacs). Prices differ per flavor, but its around Php40.00 per pack (140 gms).

If you have a Friendster account, I suggest you save or transfer you files ( photos, videos, notes, blogs,etc) to a cd or another social networking site.

Friendster announced that they will be deleting these files by the end of May 2011. THey admitted that they cannot compete with exsiting and more popular social networking sites like Facebook or Multiply.

They said that they will be evolving into a more entertainment / gaming kind of website.

Will gonna miss you Friendster (well, not really!)

Here’s one easier way of transferring pictures to your drive:

1. Login to your Friendster account and go to the photo album section of your account.

2. Browse each picture in one of your albums. This will make the pictures download faster and avoid missing photos.

3. On you Mozilla Firefox menu, click Tools >> Page Info or use the shortcut button by pressing Alt+t then Press I. This will open the Page Info window.

4. Click the Media Icon on top of the Page info window.

5. Look for Image Type files that starts with http://photos.friendster.com

6. Select all the images that you want to save. You can see the preview of each picture at the bottom of Page Info window.

7. Click Save As.

8. You will be prompted for a Directory to save the selected pictures. You can create a new folder by pressing the New Folder button.

9. Click Save.

10. You will see that your selected photos are being downloaded to your selected folder.

OR

1.  Open each photo then drag to your desktop.

Now you can use the Facebook, Multiply, or Photobucket upload pictures function and upload your newly exported pictures and your done!

Group Buying or Bulk Buying is a new online phenomenon that is spreading like wild fire. A Chinese company would be so embarrassed in printing Kate Middleton and instead of Prince William’s photo, Prince Harry’s in a mug as a royal wedding souvenir. But, I suppose this would be a lot profitable. Will the guy who laid this out wrong be fired?

Anyway, was on the foot of the mountain at around 3am, put on our head lamps and started trekking. At first, the trail was easy, but around 6am, the elevation started to peak and my thighs were getting stingy! Was so glad our guide offered to bring my bag (for a price, of course) so that my climb would be easier. After the elevation hike, the trail became a somewhat “takeshi’s castle”, where one wrong step and you’ll slide down a rocky n grassy cliff. Thanks to the strong winds, it became more challenging! After several 5 minute breaks, we reached the top.. I was so excited knowing that the hard climb was done and the trail was only going down from there. But……. i saw the cove where we were supposed to go and it was still kilometers away!!! $&#*%$&#

The hike going down was rocky but easier (especially without my bag!). We passed through grassy parts and portions that are burnt.  Passed by boulders and an area where we were supposed to cross a river (but it was dried up).  The last string was somewhat desert like- ashes from Mt. Piunatubo, and the sun was so high and hot!  The walk was kind of hard because we were wearing hiking shoes and it was difficult walking on sand, the sun was so hot, plus there were no trees to cover our walk.

We reached the beach, and the view was breathe taking, everything was worth it! Thought pine trees grow only in cool places, but there were pine trees on the beach! Pitched our tent and slept. For dinner, I thought a simple egg or instant food would be appropriate, but I was so wrong! Prepped and had sweet and sour fish plus ampalaya con carne with rice for dinner. Had a few drinks (my first time in more than a year now), then slept. For breakfast, had arroz a la cubana!

Swam the beach, the water was so clear and serene! Didn’t hike in going home, rode a banca instead, PHEW!

Loved the experience and can’t wait to have another one like it again!

Some researchers from Ohio have discovered a way of producing energy from the urea of one’s urine- a good way of eliminating biological waste. Maybe eliminating those tons of diapers thrown everyday too!

I was super surprised after hearing that Malawi’s minister of justice (secretary of justice in the Philippines) will submit a bill that will punish a person who will fart in public. He claimed that this is to promote decency, relating it to urinating in public. He also stated that one can control it and so he/ she can wait until he/ she reaches the restroom.

Why can’t they just think of laws that would be beneficial to their hungry citizens, i mean, measures that would put food on their table and stuff?!

How the hell would you be able to prove that the person beside you farted?! One should carry a glass bottle and then match its DNA?!- that is if farts have DNA, I do not know.. that is if Malawi could afford a DNA matching machine!

What punishment would you give to the person who farted?! imprisonment?! If so, when one farts inside the jail, would his sentence be lengthen?!

I think, they should try banning smoking first before they think of this lunatic idea! This bill is so not feasible, but let’s see.. all I am sure of is that when this law gets passed, Malawi won’t be on my travel destination list just to be safe! Hehehe!

A full house with only one bathroom? Install this in each bedroom! Why not! Quite practical isn’t it!

Several weeks ago I have posted here that it has been months since my last post, obviously it was. Now, I get this news that some freek is accusing me of commenting bad things on him and whose been stalking me for hours in the net- searching all of my links tirelessly. He even gave away my private links and pictures through his blog. His name is Tim Cumper. If he had visited your site, one way or another, I suggest you BAN him for he is a loser with nothing to do but to investigate without investigating and accusing without evidence, just blah blah blah trying to get some freeking attention! Kind of gay-ish if you ask me!

Firstly, I never use Jen or Jenny. If you know me personally, you would know that I do not respond to those names. Even in my links, never did I use those. If I would comment of somebody’s page, I would never use an alias- especially if I would want to comment on MY opinion. So what if I’m friends with Jepoy, Mark, Rocky and Glen?

Secondly, I suggest to this nutcase that he should have tried to reach me first to confront me of my supposedly comment before attacking me on the web. Sorry for him that I have real friends who defended me on my behalf when I didn’t have the chance to.

Thirdly, Tim Cumper should have investigated real hard before accusing me of anything. I have not been active for several months and now I get this. I assume that he just tried to look at Jepoy’s page seeing my name there, then concluding that the Jen who commented on his page was me. Kind of a mentally retarded thing to do, especially when you are accusing someone of something- you should get your facts straight. Obviously, I am not the only Jennifer in the world, perhaps there are millions. I suppose that I am not the only girl with that name that Jepoy knows.

Fourth, the links on my blogs are part of the template. I don’t know jack about HTML and codes that’s why I asked the help of my friend to do them for me. If you don’t know, it is normal for blog template creators to place their links on the templates they make, in my case, Jepoy. Try downloading custom-made WordPress or Blogger templates and see for yourself. So before you start accusing me of spreading “propaganda”, do your homework first.

Fifth, I am the one who posts contents here on my blog even though Jepoy’s the one who have access to my site logs, templates, and codes. So don’t go accusing my friend of manipulating my posts. And don’t you have a life? Spending 7 hours on my blog?? Unbelievable!

Now, Tim Cumper, you have changed your post about me and also removed my personal pictures there. Now do you realize with all the evidence, in your face, that it was not me?! Or maybe you are scared of getting bombarded with all the bad comments that you deserve. With your kind of attitude, I have this feeling that the accusations about you and your being irresponsible is very much possible. You do not even have the balls to ask me for my forgiveness?! Or even a retraction of your accusation?! Are you a man or just a bonehead?!

The amount of time & energy that Jepoy is spending – in defending his friend Pepper – would seem to indicate that the comments were actually left by himself (the coward that he is – using her name.) So much for honour . . . blah! blah! blah!

As everybody can see, my posts are all neutral. I never asked for negative attention and never picked a fight through my links, especially to people I do not know. If this guy is trying to get a fight with a girl like me, then what do you call him?! Some #&$-hole I presume!
